Details: After a free dive at the Bluff with Chris, Kerry and Sophie, i went to check out the Ampitheatre. A catshark was the best subject and an interesting sighting of the uncommmon Banded Morwong.

Details: While my strobe was away being fixed, I decided to try my hand at video which I may upload in the future. Most dives in April and May will be video with the occasional ambient light/torch light photo. Dive 479 is my first dive back with the camera.

Details: Back to the Ampitheatre, this time with a working camera. The Port Jackson Sharks were there in number and some nice schooling fish. A shearwater hung around the boat topside.

Details: The Ampitheatre is a shallowish site off the back of Charlemont Reef. Its relatively shallow coming up to about 8m, but them dropping off to about 15-16m. There some great bommies on the reefs edge and a little protected Ampitheatre that Port Jackson sharks hang out in. There was about 15 on this dive but unfortunately i had a small housing leak, so no photos from this dive.
