Dive Number: 163 11/06/11 13.24, Ozone Wreck
Wind: 10knot South- South-Easterlies
Tide: 3.5hr after 0.97 high tide at Geelong
Conditions: The area is slightly protected from southerlies, but the slight easterly aspect spoiled the vis. Surface was generally calm though.
Visibilty: 4m
Water Temp: 12c
Bottom Time: 42minutes
Max Depth: 2.8m
Air usage: 50bar/750psi
SAC: ???? litres/min
Details: Vis was shite and it was very shallow. I’ve been having battery issues with my strobes too, and one of them died immediately. This left me with one strobe for this dedicated wide angle dive. After playing around with a little stingaree, i just tried a couple of under over shots and called it a day. Very uninspiring diving in the bay lately..cold, overcast conditions with poor vis. Hoping for some more settled weather over the next few weeks.
Camera Details: Tokina 10-17mm , dual SS200 strobes.
