Twitching Darwin
Northern Territory, Australia

Darwin is a great spot for vagrants and Asian species to show up, being so close to South East Asia. Two of the hotspots, are the Leanyer Treatment Plant and Buffalo Creek. On a trip in February 2006, I photographed 4 species that you'd be hard pressed to find anywhere else in Australia. All images were taken on the 19th February...my lucky day!

Little Ringed Plover

Yellow Wagtail

Little Egret - Asian race
